Cresent Star ~Chapter 22~

CC shot flames out of his hand, burning a tree and causing it to split directly in half. Ashley was shooting at targets and Jinxx was sitting next to me as I layed boredly on the ground, Jake had not arrived yet since he was speaking with someone important from the demon world. I had still been in a depressed mood ever since I thought it was a good idea to kiss Ochra, she had been avoiding me except when meals where done and she had to eat them. And then there is Louis who still does not understand the concept of a personal bubble, I looked towards him. His legs sitting just by my head gazing at me with admiration, sighing angrily I sat up looking of into the distant attempting to ignore the now breathing on my neck.

"Uhh... I don't think he likes that," I heard Jinxx whisper lightly.

I then felt two pairs of arms wrap around me, and my anger flared ten fold. Louis knew how much I hated being held by him, however he never stops.

"Get your hands of me right now," I said calmly.

"But Andy!" Louis whined.

"Now," I said as my wings ripped through a section of my clothing.

Louis let go knowing that it hurts if you are on the receiving end of when wings snap open, and when he was smacked by them I felt undeniably glad. After my wings were open they instantly lifted me off the ground and allowed me to hover in the air before I placed a foot down on the ground and bounced on the ball of my foot, which instantly caused me to soar up into the air. I looked out into the horizon again. Everything looked so much better when I was in the air, it seemed clearer. And not just looking at things but thinking as well, I gazed happily just looking at things when I saw a large shadowy wisp moving closer to CC and Ashley.

"Ash! 35 degrees to your left!" I heard Jinxx call.

Just as I was about to fly down and move him out of the way, Ashley pointed his gun exactly in the direction of the wisp and pulled the trigger. It hit the wisps core and it exploded in a puff, he really did have deadly accuracy and he couldn't even see it. CC had his hands in fists, like a boxer would and stayed still. He accuracy was no where near as deadly as Ashley's, but he was much more violent in situations because of his fire. I stayed in the air so I could see the black shadows floating about, I looked back down at the others. Louis and Jinxx begin both demons could see them well I understand, and I guess me being an Angel made sense as well. A hand then grabbed my throat suffocating me.

"How can you see us?" snarled a voice, out of the corner of my eye I could see one of the shadows, its bony arm strangle me and almost crushing my windpipe.

"Jinxx what range?" I heard Ashley yell, ready to shot at the shadow.

"Don't! It has Andy in the way. Even if you fire at it, it'll hit Andy," Jinxx said panicky.

"Fuck!" CC yelled.

"Oh my God!" A female scream echoed.

Was that Sammii? My vision was getting blurry now I couldn't even glance down to them.

"Ochra, stop. There are more of them," another voice came, it was Louis.

"No Andy!" Ochra cried out lastly before everything went black.

~Jinxx's P.O.V~
The shadow demon flung Andy over his shoulder, he fell limp. CC and Ashley looked pissed, knowing that Andy was hurt but couldn't see the demon. Well demon's which were around, Louis held onto Ochra who was trying to run forward but a hound demon slobbered onto the ground wanting her to come towards it so it could eat her flesh. CC looked down at it when it barked towards us, Ochra jumped and Louis held her at a safe distance from it. CC punched the air and flames shot at the hound causing it to screech in a horrid sound as it writhed in pain before dying. The shadow looked down at us, specifically me.

"This is a message to all of you," it snarled at us, "Do not intervene with F.E.A.R."
